WHY JOIN PTA?
PTA helps create connections. Join PTA for your child. Volunteer at PTA school site events, attend PTA meetings or even help from home. Collaborate with others who share your vision! Help other families and community members connect with the PTA at your school site. Connect with school administration and Board members and learn about future happenings within your school district. There are a multitude of ways connections can be made simply through becoming a PTA Member.
In WHAT way does PTA help me?
PTA makes events and activities happen for your child's school often by raising money to bring enrichment activities and programs to the school site and fund transportation for field trips. This often leads to opportunities for you to volunteer your skills and/or time therefore helping you support your child and the school. Meet others with similar skills and interests and get to know your child's friends, families, teachers and school staff during events and at PTA meetings. Having that village around you and your child can be invaluable.
HOW does PTA benefit me and my child?
Being a PTA Member gives you opportunities to have a voice in decisions that affect all families and children in your school community. You become a part of the biggest organization for advocacy for children. Learn what you can do to positively impact students, families and schools, as well as education programs and services. Imagine how beneficial this could be for you and your child. We need your insight and skills to help improve PTA to be the best for students and families-yours included!
